DJ Eric Ornelas
Eric has been energizing Palm Springs with dance music since 1999, when his nightclub mixes landed him a spot on local radio spinning contemporary dance hits. Today, as host of KGAY’s Retro Lunch & Brunch Mixshow, he brings the same vibrant energy to a nonstop mix of dance classics from the ’70s, ’80s, ’90s, and 2000s—uplifting listeners every Tuesday and Thursday at noon.
Off the air, Eric is a marketing communications professional for a local nonprofit, using his talents to support meaningful causes in the community. He also serves as president of Safe Schools Desert Cities, championing LGBTQ+ youth. Whether on-air or in advocacy, he’s all about spreading positivity and keeping Palm Springs dancing.
