Brad Fuhr

After a proud showing in the top 20 competitors at Chicago’s International Mr. Leather competition, our own Oscar Uvillus did not place in the top three. He placed a very respectable 5th!

But nonetheless, our Palm Springs contingent and many other fans of his were quite proud of his representation on the stage, and with the judges who interviewed and otherwise vetted the nearly 60 contestants.
Not being a part of the leather/kink/fetish community, I kept an open mind and had open eyes at what I experienced at the Congress Hotel.
(I even bought a leather harness for those special nights in Palm Springs.)

Oscar and his husband, KGAY Program Director and afternoon Drive host Chris Shebel, will return to Palm Springs with their heads held high. Oscar was a wonderful representation of our diverse Coachella Valley.

Congrats to the winner, Jamal Herrera-O’Malley, this year’s winner!
