Cathedral City LGBT Days
Cathedral City welcomes all to the 10th Annual LGBT+ Days from Friday–Sunday, March 6–8 with a full weekend of community pride, starting with the opening ceremony on Friday at 5 pm on the steps of City Hall. Festival goers can stop by the KGAY booth at the amphitheater on Saturday to spin the Prize Wheel and check out the artisan vendors, music, food, drinks, a youth zone, a VIP lounge, and more. Come back Sunday to cheer on the KGAY bed in the Parade and Bed Race at 11:30 am—after all, when you came in number 2 last year, you try harder this year! With clocks springing forward at 2 am early Sunday morning, make sure you’re not late. Fantasy Prom
“Fantasy Prom” by the Desert Sparkles Fund transforms the Palm Springs Surf Club into a joy-filled celebration on Saturday, March 7 from 6–9 pm. BNP Paribas Open
The BNP Paribas Open is now underway, running through Sunday, March 15 at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, and Tennis Paradise is set for another heavy-hitting edition. The 2026 field features nearly all of the top 100 ATP and WTA players, including Carlos Alcaraz, arriving fresh off a historic Australian Open win that completed his career Grand Slam. World No.1 Elena Rybakina, four‑time major champions Aryna Sabalenka and Jannik Sinner, and Grand Slam legend Novak Djokovic all make their bids for the title, while Coco Gauff and former champion Taylor Fritz lead a strong American contingent, and Venus Williams played Thursday on a wild card invitation. The Palm Springs Art Festival is back at Frances Stevens Park in its 37th year, welcoming visitors on Saturday–Sunday, March 7–8 from 10 am–4 pm. Destroying David
