There are those that toot their own horn and try to make an impression on our community. They’re usually flash-in-the-pans, and some of us who have seen this movie before whisper that, likely, they too will come and go.
And then there are those who do it more quietly – they make a big impact on our community in a variety of less ostentatious ways. That’s what the Pride Honors Awards recognize each year. There’s no big gala with expensive entertainment. Just our hometown heroes in a banquet room at the Hilton gathering to be recognized their genuine love for greater Palm Springs.
Thursday night, this group of citizens shared stories of their journey, struggles, successes and concern for our world. Here’s the graphic with their photo so that you can find ways to support and thank them for all they do.

P.S. We welcome nearly 700 international visitors to Greater Palm Springs for next week’s IGLTA Global Convention. I’m proud in having a hand in bringing the group of travel professionals, media and travel companies here. #IGLTA2025
