DJ Eric Ornelas
Eric has been energizing Palm Springs with dance music since 1999, when his nightclub mixes landed him a spot on local radio spinning contemporary dance hits. Today, as host of KGAY’s Retro Lunch & Brunch Mixshow, he brings the same vibrant energy to a nonstop mix of dance classics from the ’70s, ’80s, ’90s, and 2000s—uplifting listeners every Tuesday and Thursday at noon. His show is repeated each Sunday for the Retro Brunch from 11 am – 4 pm.
Off the air, Eric is a marketing communications professional for a local nonprofit, using his talents to support meaningful causes in the community. He also serves as president of Safe Schools Desert Cities, championing LGBTQ+ youth. Whether on-air or in advocacy, he’s all about spreading positivity and keeping Palm Springs dancing.
