Spring has Sprung! The vernal equinox (good drag name btw) occurs this 20th day of March around 2:24 p.m. Fun fact: If you’re a sky watcher, the website EarthSky points out the equinoxes — spring or autumn — are the only two times a year the sun rises due east and sets due west for everyone on the planet.

“Gay” hockey comes to the Valley – helped in part by virtue of the Acrisure Arena’s opening this year. Ten teams will compete this weekend, and joins Stonewall golfers to bring sporting events to the valley. Throughout the year we have LGBTQ+ tournaments more and more these days – from tennis to softball. Even Pickleball has a local gay league.
