Out on the Walk
Your last days to experience the LGBTQ+ History & Archives of the Desert’s Out on the Walk, an exhibition celebrating the LGBT individuals on the Palm Springs Walk of the Stars, are this Thursdays–Sunday, November 9–12 at the Village Green. KGAY/Gay Desert Guide will be on-site hosting on Friday, November 10 from 2:45–6 pm, stop by and say hi! The Walk contains more than 450 stars honoring notable entertainers, humanitarians, civic leaders, architects, artists, authors, athletes, and veterans, and some of the honorees were known to live openly as LGBT individuals, while others due to time and personal preference did not. By identifying and celebrating these LGBT celebrities, business people, humanitarians, philanthropists, authors, artists, and civic leaders, organizers hope to share the story of how each one helped to make the greater Palm Springs area the welcoming place for the LGBTQ community it is today. Positive Life Series – HIV Research in Palm Springs
The HIV+ Aging Research Project Palm Springs presents the Positive Life Series on Tuesday, November 7 at 6 pm at the Palm Springs Cultural Center. This month, the topic is HIV Research in Palm Springs with Carlos Martinez, Chief Medical Officer of Palmtree Clinical Research, and Golkoo Morcos, Chief Medical Officer of Bios Clinical Research. I’m Speaking: Reflections on Veterans Day
Lez Out Loud presents I’m Speaking, Reflections on Veterans Day, a free community event featuring speakers, back for its fourth edition. The event will take place on Wednesday, November 8 at Mizell Center. LGBTQ veterans will share their experiences, followed by a Q&A session. The event is free to attend. Cabaret6 Desert Stars: Tina Turner Tribute
For six Wednesdays of the Cabaret6 Desert Stars series, from November 8–December 13, a different Desert Star will take the stage each week at the newly renovated Revolution Stage Company in downtown Palm Springs. On Wednesday, November 8 at 7 pm, It’s A Tina Turner Tribute with Keisha D and Hearts of Soul. So far, this show has played only two locations, but you’ll have a chance to see it with backup dancers, and that special something that only Keisha brings to the stage. Get tickets
Horizon Jazz Series at the Ace Hotel

Ben Zook from the hit gay web series, “Where the Bears Are,” presents The Dirty Show 2.0 with Skyler Gentry on Wednesday November 8 at 7 pm at Dietlart Gallery. This all-new show features Zook as Skyler Gentry, America’s favorite actor-singer-dancer-psychic, with raunchy songs, comedy bits and “psychic readings” with the audience. His original show was a smash hit in Palm Springs and he performed it all over the world. The Palm Springs Animal Shelter’s annual Gimme Shelter Luncheon is Thursday, November 9 from 12–1 pm. This one-hour fundraising luncheon is FREE: You’ll enjoy a vegan lunch along with an inspiring program including live testimonials and their most recent video. You’ll also be invited to join the Gimme Shelter Society comprised of individuals who have made a multi-year pledge to the shelter. More info

Palm Springs Single Guys present their monthly social mixer on Thursday, November 9 from 5:30–7:30 pm in the VIP Lounge at the Palm Springs Cultural Center.
