Brad Fuhr

If you subscribe to our e-newsletter, we curate a Top 3 list – the top three things to do in #ILoveGayPalmSprings each weekend.

This time, we’re “sending you away” – to the last major Pride celebrations of the month. San Francisco, New York and Seattle are dancin’ in the streets with Pride. So whether you plan to travel to those cities this weekend – or live there – we’re highlighting them. It’s a bit more somber this year as our LGBTQ+ rights continue to be eroded and threatened.

And as I noted last week, we become more resolute as we note that Pride celebrations are a reminder that we have a long way to go. One step gayly forward, two steps back…

ShortFest provides a number of LGBTQ+ films to enjoy this weekend. The annual Gayla shorts on Thursday night will undoubtedly spawn a few winners which can then be viewed as “Best of the Fest”. We’ll bring those to you Monday!
