Dust in the Wind! That’s what happened Thursday evening in the Coachella Valley where a haboob rolled across the area. It’s quite a sight to see from afar and above, but being in it is no picnic. The dust storm has left a coating on everything and the mountains are obscured.
We recover quickly, of course, and look forward to seeing the full moon on Sunday night. There’s always a monthly drum circle at the Ace Hotel and Swim Club no matter what night the celestial body is in full view. It’s a fun event that I’ve attended since I live nearby.
We’re four weeks from Palm Springs Pride and plans are in full swing. We’ve added ALL the Pride events to our online calendar, plus have published the Pride Map & Parade Route. It’s downloadable from the homepage.
Oh and don’t forget to vote for John Taylor, DJ Galaxy and KGAY in the Best of Coachella Valley from the CV Independent. It IS your favorite radio station, right???
