Re-Center Yourself in Tough Times

  1. Journal: Writing down your thoughts and experiences helps you process and unload in times of stress. You can do this on your phone with apps like Day One, Momento (IOS Only) or Five Minute Joiurnal.
  2. Daily Self Care-ins: Take a few minutes each morning to assess what you will be doing for the day. Work through any anxiety you may be feeling. Be honest about the emotions throughout the day.
  3. Take a Personal Day: Even if you have been working remotely at home, take a day to go offline. Spend it doing what you want, take a walk outside. Whatever you do, make sure it leaves you feeling recharged and re-energized.
  4. Sleep: This is one of the most neglected self-care activities. Start a bedtime routine that calms you down. Aim to get between 7 – 9 hours of sleep.
