Lesbian Visibility Week highlights the culture and contributions of queer women from Monday–Sunday, April 20–26 at various locations throughout Greater Palm Springs. The festivities commence Monday, April 20 at 12 pm with a Flag Raising Ceremony at The Center featuring Mayor Naomi Soto. Residents can visit the Trailblazing Lesbians of Coachella Valley Exhibit Tuesday–Sunday, April 21–26 during regular library hours at Welwood Murray Memorial Library. Ruth Debra facilitates a Coffee Meetup & Storytelling on Tuesday, April 21 at 9 am at 4 Paws Coffee Co. Karyl Ketchum, PhD presents Karyl’s Tuesday Learning Lounge at 11 am at The Center. Catch a Film Screening Night on Wednesday, April 22 at 6:30 pm at the Palm Springs Cultural Center featuring Tina Gordon. Enjoy a Wine Tasting Social on Thursday, April 23 from 6–7:30 pm at Palm Springs Bottle Shop. See Higher This 420 welcomes everyone to the premier cannabis dispensary and lounge in the Coachella Valley for a day of celebration. Dining Out For Life encourages the community to dine out for a cause on Thursday, April 23 all day at various participating locations. Restaurants, bars, and coffee shops will donate a generous percentage of their sales to DAP Health to support the mission of ending HIV. A KGAY Out and About Remote broadcast with John Taylor will be live from 8–10 am at Townie Bagels. Palm Springs consistently ranks as one of the top three fundraisers for this national campaign.
