How can you say “thank you” for this world-class Pride? Make a donation with one of the many volunteers who will be stationed around all weekend. Buy a drink from one of the many bars on the street. Thank a vendor or buy something from them. Thank a downtown merchant and visit their store, bar or restaurant. Keep your dollars with official Pride events.
And above all, be kind to one another. Marvel at the diversity that Pride celebrates. Embrace the shapes, sizes, colors and expression that your fellow human beings will display. That’s who they are and how they want to present. Take our theme to heart: “Drag Now, Drag Forever!”

Palm Springs Pride Officially Begins
The official launch of Palm Springs Pride week is commemorated with the annual Unfurling of the Rainbow Flag from the Stergios Tower at Desert Regional Medical Center, on Wednesday, November 1 at 10 am. We raise the flag as a symbol of our progress and a reminder of the importance of ensuring that the most vulnerable members of the LGBTQ community are taken care of and that we continue working for equality and dignity for all. Palm Springs Pride launches with a special edition of Madonna Bar on Thursday, November 2 at 9 pm at Reforma, proudly sponsored by KGAY and Gay Desert Guide. Join host ChiChi Fuera for an electrifying celebration of cultural pride at the inaugural Palm Springs Latin Pride Fiesta ¡Orgullo! on Thursday, November 2 from 5–10 pm on Arenas Road. Highlights of the Fiesta ¡Orgullo! include a lineup of talented artists performing and spinning a mix of Latin hits, from salsa and merengue to reggaeton and cumbia. The grand opening party for the Trevor Wayne store is Friday, November 3 from 4–7 pm. LGBTQ Servicemember Wreath Laying Ceremony
A pre-Veterans Day ceremony to honor LGBTQ servicemembers and all who served in the United States Armed Forces will take place on Friday, November 3 from 6–6:30 pm on the Pride Festival Hornitos Main Stage. The ceremony will include remarks from dignitaries and a wreath-laying ceremony. Participating organizations include the American Legion Post 519, VFW, Palm Springs DAV local chapter 66, AMVETS, US Army Special Forces Association, and Veterans for Peace. More info
Interfaith Pride Kabbalat Shabbat
People of all faith communities and beliefs are invited to join the 2023 Pride Welcoming of the Sabbath Service on Friday, November 3 from 6:30–7:30 pm at United Methodist Church of Palm Springs. This will be a pluralistic prayer service with a core of Jewish liturgy led by members of our local clergy, presented by Or Hamidbar PS, United Methodist Church of Palm Springs, Bloom in the Desert Ministries UCC, Hope Palm Springs, and Saint Gilles Catholic Community. Just Be Yourself Party
Firefly Shines Events is hosting a Pride kickoff Just Be Yourself Party celebrating women supporting women, on Friday, November 3 from 6–10 pm. The event features a mix and mingle with live music, dancing, psychic readings, and more. Get a free psychic reading by Sheena Metal, who is a psychic, medium, energetic healer, TV/Radio host, and founder of the RaisingThevibration.org movement. There will also be live music by Sean Wiggins and special guests Paul Houston and Vicci Stewart. Proceeds from the event will benefit women and children’s health organizations.
