The generosity of you who live and play in the Coachella Valley is truly amazing. Over the weekend, I attended the Laurel Foundation’s annual toy drive and fundraiser (where Cher and Chaz Bono were honored, but were no-shows!) and participated in Animal Samaritans “Men of the Desert” (Where Barry Manilow DID attend). We helped raise over $200,000 for the new facility.

Rock the Park Returns with Ronstadt Revival
The Palm Springs Chamber of Commerce’s free outdoor concert series of tribute bands at the Palm Springs Downtown Park, “Rock the Park,” is coming back for a sophomore stint beginning Wednesday, December 7 at 7 pm. This season-opening performance will feature Ronstadt Revival: Tribute to a Legend, with the music of Linda Ronstadt. Rock the Park will continue on the first Wednesday each month, through May 3, 2023. Future dates will pay tribute to Queen, Prince, Bee Gees, and more. The concerts are free and attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and/or folding chairs. More info
Fun Home Opens Tuesday
CVRep presents Fun Home from December 6–18. Winner of five Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Fun Home is a musical adapted from Alison Bechdel’s 2006 graphic memoir of the same name. Follow Alison as she uncovers the secrets through three different ages in her life. The Boys & Girls Club of Cathedral City presents the 13th Annual Denim & Diamonds extravaganza on Monday, December 5 at 5 pm at the Palm Springs Air Museum. Come sparkle in your best denim and support the Club’s educational, training, and mentorship programs. The event begins with cocktails and a silent auction.
