Brad Fuhr

“The light of America’s promise will always shine bright”. Kamala Harris’ words to us in her concession speech Wednesday help take the sting away just a bit. We are in shock and we are numb at the prospects ahead. I wrote to my staff and shared on social media the following:

I’ve been in touch with other leaders in the community, and we are looking at ways to respond. It may be a rally or a vigil, but know that we will gather and share in our grief and then look forward to what is next.

Jill Hingston, director of behavioral health at The Center CV, spoke with John Taylor on our grieving process. I’m linking to the KGAY YouTube video for coping skills and some thoughts on finding community during this difficult time.
