Bros, the movie, is debuting at Cinema Diverse on September 15th, a full two weeks ahead of its theatrical release. That’s a big coup for Michael Green and his team who puts on our LGBTQ+ film festival now its 15th year!

If you get our weekly newsletter, our # 1 Thing to Do in #ILoveGayPalmSprings is Monday as the Bros mobile tour comes to town. Deets below.

Co-writer and star of the movie, Billy Eichner, got into a little hot water today when he dissed streaming content in remarks made in Variety and reported on CNN.

Another film I’m personally excited about is All Man: The International Male Movie, co-directed by my good friend Jesse Finley Reed. It will show twice during the festival starting with the prime slot on Friday, Sept. 16. There are a few Palm Springs connections to the movie, and we’ll have more here and on KGAY 106.5 as the festival draws nearer.

It’s a great weekend for a movie, binge-watching TV or enjoying an indoor meal during the last weekend of Greater Palm Springs’ Summer Eats. My condo association’s pool and spa are basically the same temperature, so there’s little relief from the sun this holiday weekend. Cooler days are just around the corner – we hope!
